The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) has scheduled seven public meetings this fall and winter to discuss and develop a new draft policy for managing salmon fisheries in Willapa Bay.

Visits VA Medical Unit
Last Tuesday (Oct. 14), Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-Vancouver) was in Raymond as the VA's mobile medical unit made its first trip to Southwest Washington to offer basic medical services to veterans.
The Pacific County Senior Center is located at 324 Jackson Street in Raymond. Meals are served at 11:45 for those 60 and over for a suggested donation of $4. Under 60 will pay $8 a meal.
The Board of Directors of the Washington Coast Sustainable Salmon Partnership
Last Tuesday, October 14, the Pacific County Board of Commissioners met at the courthouse annex in South Bend. To kick the meeting off, the board approved the whole consent agenda at once, which included a multitude of resignations, retirements, appointments and probation completions.
