Last Tuesday (Oct. 14), Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-Vancouver) was in Raymond as the VA's mobile medical unit made its first trip to Southwest Washington to offer basic medical services to veterans.

Last Tuesday, October 14, the Pacific County Board of Commissioners met at the courthouse annex in South Bend. To kick the meeting off, the board approved the whole consent agenda at once, which included a multitude of resignations, retirements, appointments and probation completions.

Musician Greg Blake will perform a special concert of Appalachian and Southern Gospel Music on Saturday, October 25 at 2 pm at the Raymond Theatre to benefit long-term disaster recovery efforts in the state of Washington.
