WASHAWAY BEACH - Last Tuesday, July 22, officials met with Tokeland/North Cove residents to assess solid waste pollution from housing falling into the ocean and numerous illegal dump-sites on Washaway Beach. The county hoped to establish a mitigation plan and long-term funding by meeting with the officials.
