The local Food Bowl fundraiser is back on after a few years of non-participation.

Raymond and Willapa Valley High Schools arrived at the North Pacific County Food Bank in Raymond to deliver a total over $4,000 worth of donations in cash and food on Dec. 19.

“It is great to have the drive back”, said Food bank Manager Bonnie Ryan.

The Pacific County Senior Center hosted its annual Christmas dinner last Friday. The Willapa Harbor and Willapa River Lions came by and sang carols. First graders at Raymond Elementary sent cute decorated Christmas trees that lined the halls. Ramona Wilson won the sweater contest for best Christmas sweater; she won a breakfast basket.
