The Construction Trades class at South Bend High School supported First Lutheran Church with a project on a railing that was in need of replacement.
When we moved from Montana to Olympia 35 years ago, we saw enticing television and magazine ads for our neighboring states, but none for Washington. Fast forward to 2013 and nothing has changed. It was puzzling then, but even more perplexing today, considering the money and jobs at stake.

May 27th is Memorial Day. This holiday was established after the Civil War to honor the fallen heroes that perished during the conflict and has followed through each year to the present time.
The Pacific County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that it is working together with the Safe Kids Coalitions of Washington State and the Washington State McDonald’s Owner’s Association to reward the children in and around the community for “safe riding habits” including wearing a helmet when riding a bicycle.
