The Zonta Club of Centralia/Chehalis will host its annual used book sale at the Lewis County Mall in Centralia on Oct. 6 through Oct. 8. This is the club's thirtieth year of offering people the chance to buy books and help the area Zonta Club raise money for local scholarship funds.
Thousands of used hardcover and paperback books will be for sale. The books are sorted by the categories of fiction, nonfiction, mysteries, cookbooks and textbooks. Prices will start at $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardback books. Prices will decrease each day. A closeout sale will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8.
The sale will be held inside the Lewis County Mall. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on all three days.
Proceeds will go to support Zonta's scholarship programs and community charities, as well as international projects. Zonta awards a full-tuition scholarship to a student attending Centralia College each year. In addition, financial support is given to Human Response Network and the Food Bank, as well as other local charities.
Book donations are welcome all year. Call 360-740-7715 for pickup.
