Evaline Elementary’s Booster Club is meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in their cafeteria. A board meeting is scheduled to follow at 7 p.m.
For all parents of Winlock students, don’t forget that Wednesday, Nov. 20, is an early release day.
The Winlock Timberland Library will be presenting Teen Book Club on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Teenagers are invited to come and discuss this month’s book, “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Winlock Timberland Library.
On Saturday be sure to head down to the library for an open day of play. Family and friends are all invited to try out a variety of board and card games. You can even participate in the Global Gossip Game—an international game of telephone—with libraries around the world.
Calling all geeks! (I include myself in that). The library will also be hosting May the Odds Be Ever in Your Favor on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. This is a Doctor Who/Hunger Games mash-up party, people! You can make like Peeta and decorate a Dalek cupcake, craft a duct tape bow tie and fez, design Katniss’s wedding dress, make a fandom t-shirt, and more.
