With Egg Day right around the corner Winlock is definitely showing the signs of a festivity coming. The signs are up reminding us that Egg Day is June 27 and 28. The flower baskets are hanging and the town is getting geared up for the big weekend. As we all get ready to celebrate the big weekend, it’s important to remember those who volunteer their time to make the celebration happen. The amount of time the volunteers spend getting ready says a lot about the kind of people they are!
On Friday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. there is the Black Tie Dessert Auction at 202 NE First St. Friday night from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. there is the Tuner Day Car Show at Winlock Elementary School. Finally on Friday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. the Egg Day Queen Coronation and Junior Court event takes place, this is held at the Winlock Middle School. To end the evening there is a Beer Garden with live music by Robbie Laws at The Club downtown This is Friday evening events, if you are able to attend one of the events, please let the volunteers know how much you appreciate their time and energy spent to start the weekend off with a big bang
