Winlock Lions Club has been around since 1947, providing many services to the community throughout the years. The Winlock Lions Club has focused on community and serving the area for many years. Lions Club International has over 1.4 million members, all volunteers who help their communities. Throughout the years, Winlock Lions Club has been involved in making Winlock a better place.

The Winlock Lions Club has donated many things throughout the years, more recently they donated the reader board at Winlock Miller Elementary. Their services also include fundraising for glasses and the Winlock Egg Days. Lions Club will be selling fireworks this year as that is the only fundraiser they have been able to do for an entire year.

Lions Club also offers one scholarship for college to a local student. There are no requirements on courses or the nature of the study.

The Lion's Club also takes care of the Winlock Egg Park. They are responsible for cutting the grass and they have been for years. The Christmas lights at the park are also supplied by the Lions Club. The Lions Club also takes care of the planter boxes all year round.

Per President Jeanie Emmengger she stated, "Our motto is we serve, for example, we have helped a few property owners throughout the years get cleaned up. We also have had many events at the Winlock Community Center and we sell fireworks so the area residents don't have to drive to purchase them."

Jeanie continued, "Winlock Lions Club has been around since 1947. We need people to help us serve the community and participate in events. It may not sound fun, but we really do have a fun time while serving our community. Meetings are on the first Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. The next meeting will be on April Fools day.
