Veterans, family and spouses of deceased veterans, in appreciation to all U.S. Military Veterans the Raymond Elks Lodge 1292 is honored to host this program. This is an opportunity for men and women who served on active duty to learn and ask questions about Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits and local community based outreach programs which may be available for those eligible.
Representatives from participating Pacific and Grays Harbor county organizations will be available to answer questions and provide you with information regarding their programs and services. A broad range of benefits are offered to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and to certain members of their families by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Among these benefits are various types of financial assistance, including monthly cash payments to disabled veterans, health care, education, and housing benefits. Basic criteria must be met to be eligible to receive any of these or other benefits administered by the VA. Participating organizations, the veterans Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) will have a representative attending with information about the health care services available for eligible veterans. Disabled American Veterans Service Officers, Pacific County Veterans Relief Fund, Work Source, Longview Housing Authority serving Pacific County, Coastal Community Action, Crisis Support Network, American Legion, VFW, Marine Corps League and others.
Important Note, veterans if you are anticipating asking the service officers to assist you in any way please bring your military discharge DD-214 form if you have it or other official discharge document and photo ID. Participating veterans and a guest are invited to join us for a free Hamburger Lunch served between 11:30am-1:30pm unless we run out early.
