May Day organizers are getting a jump on fundraising for next year and are currently taking orders for boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts for $11 apiece. Funds raised will be used toward supplies and trophies for May Day 2016.
Organizers have also announced the winner of the May Day raffle, which included a basket of gift certificates from the Lucky Eagle, Papa Pete's and Lori Rarey of Yours, Mine and Ours. The winner is Jerry Chastain, of Vader, and a special thanks is offered to all who participated in this fundraiser.
Time remains to participate in the Country Cruisers Car Club's next car show on June 6 at McMurphy Park. The entry fee is $15, with options for finished or unfinished vehicles and more than one entry per person. For more information, call Club President Al Bangs at (360) 827-1899.

The Vader Assembly of God Church has announced they will be hosting guest speaker Bill Shaw, who will be sharing about his missionary work in Africa on Saturday at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
