CHILDREN'S EASTER EGG HUNT March 30 at 1 p.m. The grassy area next to the Post Office will be the official site for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt for children between the ages of toddler to 12. If it rains, the event will take place at the Lions Hall. Small pre-wrapped Candies are still needed to fill plastic eggs along with small new toys and can be delivered to City Hall before the March 21. Share the delight of the little ones by donating. Don't Be Alarmed if a large group of motorcyclists roll into town this Saturday before noon and park around the Jail Pavilion and Church Parking lot. They have rented Werden Park as part of the Love's Mystery Tour for lunch, plus tours of the Old Vader Jail and the Olson Mansion. Though this event is not open to the public, residents should welcome our park guests and encourage them to return to Vader in the future.
“A SHADOW OF EASTER" MUSICAL will be presented at the Vader Assembly of God Easter Sunday starting at 10:30 a.m. The word "Shadow" is your clue to a most entertaining and blessed presentation.
Vader Citizens League will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall. Discussions will center on 2013 activities such as the May Day Celebration and playground equipment funding for Werden Park. Everyone is welcome.

The Masonic Grand Master of Washington along with a representative of the Oregon Grandmaster, and Masons from around the Southern WA. Districts, met for the annual fund raising "Masonic Outreach Event" to sponsor underprivileged Vader schoolchildren. Each year they help to raise money to buy school clothes and supplies for the new school year. Currently, they are helping with the May Day Celebration and May Day Breakfast feed (everything you want to eat) at the Vader Lodge May 4.
