United Way of Grays Harbor, which serves Grays Harbor and Pacific counties, is currently holding a coat, shoe, and blanket drive through Oct. 28.
The goal of the drive is to raise $10,000 in order to help provide 250 warm coats and 250 pairs of new shoes for Harbor area kids in need, as well as winter blankets for as many folks as possible.
Organizers thank the generosity of ASAP Business Solutions. Contributing businesses will be recognized with a special "on-air" thanks on KDUX, KXRO, KIX95, and FOX Sports KWOK radio stations.
Cash donations, as well as new coats and new shoes, are being accepted at United Way Grays Harbor. Online donations can be made at unitedwaygraysharbor.org.

Donations of gently used coats and blankets will also be accepted at Salvation Army (please mention it is for the United Way Coat and Blanket Drive).
Salvation Army is giving 100 vouchers for coats to be distributed with the blankets on Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ASAP Business Solutions. Recipients will have 30 days to pick out their coat. ASAP Business Solutions is hosting this event.
New coats and new shoes will be delivered to local schools on Nov. 4. United Way Campaign dollars are NOT used for this drive.
