Ten youngsters gave traditional and modern Ugandan performances during another appearance of the Ugandan Kids Choir at Toledo First Baptist Church on Wednesday. Part of a tour of North American the choir takes on a regular basis, the children are all part of Childcare Worldwide, non-profit, faith-centered organization based in Bellingham seeking to help children break the cycle of poverty. "Children are the same all over the world," said Tour Leader Richard Carey to the audience, stating a child from any country or economic background will share the same kinds of hopes and aspirations as another. The tour is part of efforts to raise awareness and participation for ministries such as Childcare Worldwide, and more information can be found at www.childcareworldwide.org.
