Toledo honors 2013’s top responders

Lewis County Fire District 2, based in Toledo, celebrated the service of their firefighters and EMTs during an annual dinner at Parker’s Restaurant Saturday in Castle Rock. Honored for a high volume of call responses were (pictured, left to right) Shawnee Bunyard, who responded to 105 calls, Nathan Summers, who responded to 117 calls, Shannon Summers, who responded to 244 calls, and Nick Delin, who responded to 214 calls. Not available to attend the dinner were James “Grubby” Groebner, who responded to 247 calls, and Caleb Thomas, who responded to 138 calls. All were given commemorative bags with their names and the title of  “Top Responder.”
