The Willapa Harbor Chamber of Commerce officially welcomed Third Street Bakery and Bistro to the community by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 16.
Bistro Owner Connie Becerra and Manager Kevin McCollum have actually been serving up delicious dishes and treats at this location since they opened the doors in January of this year. If you haven't gotten to try their food yet, you are truly missing out!
Third Street Bakery and Bistro is a quiet and cozy restaurant that focuses on dishes made with the freshest ingredients possible. They use organic vegetables as much as they can and their menu includes vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian items, catering to a wide range of taste buds and dietary needs. This is what makes them different - food options and that they make everything fresh.
They have weekly specials including Poke Bowls and Chicken Katsu and have the goal of food and desserts that are fun for everyone. Connie and Kevin moved to the area about 1.5 years ago but the McCollum family has been here for years. Kevin's well-known grandfather, Tunny, worked for Weyerhaeuser. They opened the Bakery and Bistro because they love to cook and wanted to contribute to the people of Pacific County. They started with the Farmer's Market and a yellow tent and while that was a blast, knew that it wouldn't work for them in the Winter months. The Community was voicing how much Raymond needed more food options, so the Bakery and Bistro was born.
When asked what Connie and Kevin's goal was for the restaurant, simply put they are serving Pacific County with the freshest food possible while supporting local farmers and business.
