It seems to me that with all the wasteful government spending there must be surplus dollars in the “slush” fund and should be returned to the people.
There’s been millions of dollars spent on frivolous programs such as teapot and cowgirl museums, the study of snail sex organs and how about the “program to see what animals are thinking” and the “Catfish inspection” program. Are you kidding me? What are they thinking? Actually, what are we thinking to allow this to continue or for that matter how did we allow it to be implemented in the first place?? Could these expenditures be more outrageous? How about all the funds spent by the GSA on lavish hotels, hot tubs and other “necessary” activities just to name a few.
We Americans haven’t been vigilant in controlling our government. After all, the government is supposed to work for us. Since there apparently is a surplus of dollars, I believe we should all be granted a tax refund effective immediately.
