Are you parenting a teen and asking yourself: How come it seems like every conversation with my teen turns into a power struggle? Centralia College Child and Family Studies is offering a Parenting a Teen class that can help parents interact more successfully with their teen.
Parenting a Teen classes help you make sense of what is happening with your teen, and learn tools and strategies to increase positive parent-teen communication and problem solving.
Parenting a Teen meets on the Centralia College Campus in the TEEN/LAX annex, across from the Health and Wellness Center, each Thursday in February (parents only) and March (parents and youth together) from 5:30-8 p.m. A light meal will be provided.
This two-credit class is open to all parents with teen children and available at no cost. For more information, or to register, contact Linda Wilcox Mary Rushton at Centralia College at 360.736.9391, ext. 464, or email lwilcox@centralia.edu or Boyd Calder at 360.304.2575.
