The Willapa Harbor Lions has an extra supply of Community Birthday Calendars. Our calendars have always started in September and went through August to coincide with the school year. No one seems to know why that was done, except they tried to connect the calendar with the School Calendar. So these calendars still have the months of December through August. And the deal I have you is a discounted price of $5. The coupons on the back of each calendar month are more than enough to pay for your calendar.

So if you didn't get a calendar this year, now is the time to keep current on the Community Birthdays. You may send a check to Willapa Harbor Lions, PO Box 333 Raymond or call me, Dick Woods at 509-670-6174 and I will personally deliver your calendar. Everyone who has bought calendars in the past did not get contacted. If you are one of these people, now is the time to act. Next year we plan to add the four months of September through December and then have the calendar go from January through December as a normal calendar year.

As we come to the end of another year, the Willapa Harbor Lions would like to thank the businesses who support our projects and everyone who buys a calendar or a Rain Derby ticket or all of you that bring your newspapers, magazines and aluminum cans to the Paper Shack between Raymond and South Bend. By supporting our Lions Club projects, we are to give back to the Community almost $50,000.

Because all of our projects require Lions to get them done, we are always looking for men and women to come and join us for Lunch any Thursday at Noon at the Barge Restaurant.
