I have taken full advantage of the opportunities of involvement at my school by playing sports, staying active in student government, and being a member of many clubs while still keeping up with my schoolwork. The everlasting friendships and hard lessons I have learned would not have been possible at a larger school. I have been blessed with such an amazing support system of my parents, friends, and teachers that have always pushed me to reach my fullest potential. All of that support has allowed me to set high goals for myself and work diligently to achieve them. It is hard to believe that my senior year is coming to and end and that my classmates and I will be parting ways.

However, I am confident that we have all been prepared to achieve success in our futures, whether we pursue a higher education or plunge straight into the work force. We all have the potential to achieve what we dream of. The amount of effort you put towards your goals will determine whether or not you reach them.

High school has taught me the importance of hard work and drive. I don’t think people realize that your work ethic in high school dictates the direction your life will lead afterwards. I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given and the tight knit community I have grown up in. All of these experiences have shaped me into the person I am today.
