In the Team Problem category featuring 22 teams, Grant Camenzind, Genezaret Quintana and Josue Quintana missed first place by scoring 24 out of 30 points to Ocosta's 26. In the Topical Problem category, Raymond claimed its reward with the same three young men, barely finishing behind the winning Ocosta and second-place Montesano.
In the individual elimination competition, Grant Camenzind demonstrated his math proficiency by once again placing third. Grant, Genezaret and Josue will now go on to compete at the state WSMC competition at Central Washington University April 26th.
