Ray Altringer, of Toledo, died April 25, 2014. Born Oct. 16, 1918, he was 95 years old.

He was preceded in death by wife Ida Williams Altringer, two sisters, son Dan Altringer, and adopted daughter Ladeva Dahlin.

He is survived by his daughter Lynn Winters of Appleton; son, Don (Patricia) of Sedona, Arizona; eight grand children and 10 great grand children; adopted daughters Charlotte Marcotte and Diana Haug; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A military service and celebration of his life is scheduled for 1 p.m. May 9 at Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel, in Toledo. Interment will follow at Lone Hill Cemetery, with a reception at the Toledo Senior Center following.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Toledo Senior Center Memorial Fund, Hear of Hospice, or Klickitat County Fire District 13 Memorial Fund.
