an informational public forum on “Steelhead and Cutthroat Trout” by a biologist from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The meeting will be at the Menlo Fire Station on Highway 6 May 16at 6:30 p.m.
Some of the topics that will be covered include: possibilities of a season for cutthroat; steelhead production; summer run steelhead; plants and locations of steelhead; regulations and why they are the way they are; residential populations and migratory on the South and North Forks of the Willapa, North River, Smith Creek; how chum salmon populations affect cutthroat and steelhead.
