Evans Street will be repaved next month near the Miller Junior High School. The repaving will be on Evans Street from Griffith Street to the sharp corners where Evans street merges into McFarlane Street. The end result will be newly paved surface along the length of the junior high school.
September 26 is the official 10th National Prescription Drug Take Back day and will take place from 10am to 2pm. Sites will be set up throughout the cities nationwide so that local residents can return unwanted or expired prescription drugs for proper disposal. Sites and locations are to be listed later.

The Ocean Shores Woof-a-thon will be held at the North Bay Park on August 15 in Ocean Shores. There will be vendors, and anyone and everyone is welcome.
The Grays Harbor County Fair will be running from August 5 to August 9 starting at 10am each day and going until 10pm each day except the last, which will close at 6pm. General Admission comes in at $10 and youth will cost $6, any child 5 years or younger get in free.
Friday, August 7 kicks off the sunset concert series in Seabrook, starting at 7pm every Friday in August at the amphitheatre on First Street. The performances will be live music from local performers.
