The First Friday of May will be held on May 6 starting at 5pm, be sure to come downtown and see the special deals at local businesses that will be open later than usual.
The Grays Harbor Shorebird Festival will be held on Friday, May 6 and will go until May. Best bird viewing times are at 2pm on Friday, and from noon to 4pm on Saturday.

A forestry meeting is scheduled for Monday May 9 at 11 am at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen. Representative Derek Kilmer (D-WA) will visit Aberdeen to join in the latest of a series of public meetings with timber, conservation, and local leaders from the Olympic Peninsula Forest Collaborative. The hearing will provide a chance for the Collaborative to engage the public in its efforts.
