On Saturday August 1, Master Gardeners are sponsoring a gardening workshop on "Creating Wildlife-Friendly Habitat" at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco. Master Gardeners will speak on how insects / wildlife are beneficial, attracting insects, attracting pollinators, and certifying your garden as a wildlife habitat. The workshop lecture begins at 10 a.m.
Plant questions or problems? Ask a Master Gardener. Stop by the Museum anytime between 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. with your plant questions. If possible, bring samples of your plant problem. The workshop and plant clinic are free and open to the public.
They will also be selling native plants in 1-gallon and 2-gallon pots. We have on hand red flowering currant, ocean spray, and serviceberry in limited quantities.
