Local Teams Alive in Regional Tournament

All of the local teams are still alive in their respective district tournaments as of Town Crier's Thursday night deadline.

Of special note was the Castle Rock boys upset of Hoquiam on the road in the Grizzlies' home gym. The Rockets scored a first round win and a date with King's Way Christian on Saturday night.

The Toledo girls lost their opening round game to Ilwaco, but bounced back with a 49-28 victory over Tacoma Baptist. The will play the loser of Saturdays Napavine-Raymond game.

The Toledo boys cruised to a 61-31 victory over Rainier and will face North Beach in their next test over the weekend.

The Castle Rock girls play Montesano in their first round game after the Town Crier deadline. Expect a full report next week.
