Law enforcement agencies from Lewis County served 21 warrants yesterday during "Operation Spring Cleaning." The collaborative emphasis was conducted to locate and arrest people with outstanding warrants in the Lewis County area.
Between 7:30 a.m. and midnight on April 21st, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office, Centralia Police Department, Washington State Patrol, and Department of Corrections arrested numerous subjects resulting in 17 misdemeanor and 4 felony warrants being served.
Lewis County District Court, the Centralia Municipal Court Prosecutor, and the Lewis County Prosecutor's Office also assisted in making the emphases successful.
Sheriff Robert Snaza said, "The emphases was successful due to the solid partnerships we have in Lewis County. We are fortunate to have such great working relationships, which ultimately make Lewis County a safer place to live. By serving these warrants, we hold people accountable, in hopes of deterring others from making the same mistakes. It was a great team effort!"
