I read with interest Jim Fulton’s Letter to the Editor (July 16, 2014) regarding candidates and “Rules of Sign Placing”. He didn’t mention any names, just that it was a new candidate running for Pacific County Commissioner Position 3.
I wonder why he didn’t just pick up the phone and call him and give him some good political advice.
Instead in a two-column Letter to the Editor, he tried his best to make the candidate sound unfit for the office.
It is no wonder that it is getting harder to get good candidates to run for office. Local politics used to be fun. Who really wants to expose themselves and their family to the garbage some people like to throw?
