Although several other cooks will be vying for the top prize, I am quite certain that my "Kickin' Kiwanis King" recipe will leave our patrons longing for more. I know I will be up against "Super Indian Chief" (Mike Morris), "Fire House Chili-Man" (Scott McDougall), Picture Perfect" (Richard Curtis), "Give Him an Appeal" (Judge Joel Penoyar), and "Bell-Ringer" (Julie D. and Debbie W.); there's not doubt that I can rule the day. They don't have a prayer.
Tickets are only $5, which will give you the opportunity to judge
with a blind-taste and enjoy a bowl of your favorite chili along with
cornbread, brownies and coffee or lemonade. We'll have hot dogs for the
faint of heart or those who desire a chilidog. Take out will be
available. Get your tickets from any Kiwanian or at the door.
