Joe joined the Navy on July 5th, 1942 and was discharged on Dec. 11th, 1945. He worked in the logging industry and retired from DNR.
Joe loved the outdoors, planting trees, cutting firewood, gardening, working in his woodworking shop, playing cards and most of all fishing.
