Hunter Education Classes

Each class will run for four nights from 6 to 9:30 pm. You are required to online register; goto wdfw.wa.gov and click on Hunter Education. You must register at least 24 hours prior to class start date. No walk-ins will be allowed. Class size is limited so register early. There is no cost to attend these classes. Students are required to pass a written exam and related field activities. Live fire will be offered. You must attend all sessions. Students 12 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students under 18 years old must bring a signed Parent Agreement Form. Classes will be held at the Willapa Harbor Community Center in South Bend. Online classes are now also available at a cost of $19.50. These classes require a field skills evaluation.
