You are invited to TAC's Holiday Season Party at the Raymond High School, 1016 Commercial Street, Raymond on Dec. 13 at 5:00 p.m. This free event offers carols, cookie decorating, crafts and the movie Elf. Prizes for the best holiday outfit. Please donate a canned food item at the door. All ages are welcome.

The Raymond Theater is showing The Star: The Story Of The First Christmas movie on Friday, Dec. 15 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 16 at 11:00 a.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 17 at 1:00 p.m. This showing is sponsorted by the Lebam Community Church and admission is free.

The 2017 Christmas Toy House takes place on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pick up toys at St. Lawrence Catholic Church basement in Raymond.

The Shaolwater Bay Library is once again having the annual Community Christmas Breakfast Sunday, Dec. 17 starting at 8:30 a.m. in the Tribal Center Meeting room. Enjoy breakfast and live music with puppets and the Snow Dance. Santa will be there handing out gifts. Anyone can attend. Admission is free. Please RSVP with children's ages (360) 267-8190.

Graham Cracker Houses is scheduled at the Raymond Timberland Library on Wednesday, Dec. 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Kick your winter break off with making the graham cracker house of your dreams complete with icing and candy. Open to kids in grades 1 through 12. All supplies provided by the Friends of the Raymond Timberland Library.

New Life Fellowship is hosting a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Sunday, Dec. 24 at 10:30 a.m.

Willapa Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet is Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Willapa Harbor Community Center.

The North Pacific County Food Bank is open every Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The food bank is closed on holidays. Serving all of North Pacific County. For emergencies call (360) 942-4726.

Alliance for a Better Community meetings are the second Wednesday of each month, at noon, at Liang's restaurant. The public is always welcome.

VFW Pacific Post 968 is holding regular monthly meetings every second Wednesday. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. and are held at 221 Duryea Street in Raymond.

The Willapa Harbor Quilters meet at the First Baptist Church of Raymond each Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., with exceptions in August and December. Visitors are always welcome. Coffee, tea and friendly conversation are available at all meetings. For more information contact the group's president, Becky Coburn, at 360-934-5567.

The Dr. O.R. Nevitt Memorial Pool Board meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5 p.m. in the meeting room of Raymond City Hall. Meetings are open to the public.
