Food Bank Manager Makes Clarification

I want to thank the Willapa Harbor Harold for doing a feature article on our food bank.

I would like however to make a clarification. The article read that Bob and I had previously acquired the building, not so. The Food Bank division of the Willapa Harbor Ministerial Association purchased the building over time from Bud High. It was a board decision to make that purchase. I am merely the manager there and Bob joined our board as Chairman this past year.

We have approximately 23 people that do dedicated volunteer work with us. It takes a community and dedication to a cause to make something successful. None of the remodeling could have been without them. We all work shoulder-to-shoulder together for the same cause, whether it is showing up each month for our truck or bagging in the back room. Each individual is very valuable and appreciated. Most importantly none of this could be possible without the support of our community. For these things I say thank you.
