On Saturday March 19, Aberdeen Police Officers responded to a call from Duffy's restaurant on Simpson Avenue. The restaurant reported a third degree theft where subjects ate their meals and then left without paying for them. The suspects were reportedly Native American, male and female, with dark hair and stocky builds as well as bad front teeth. After the officers began searching for the suspects, an officer from Hoquiam had a subject that matched the description run from him. A witness from Duffy's restaurant identified the suspect, before a second foot chase broke out that yielded the second suspect, that was also confirmed by a witness from Duffy's restaurant. The two suspects were later booked into the Aberdeen Jail without further incident.
