Toledo woman rolls car near Winlock

A Toledo woman escaped injury when her vehicle rolled over near Winlock Oct. 2, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

The 29-year-old driver of a Toyota 4Runner had been traveling on the 20 block of S. Military Rd., east of Winlock, when she lost control and ran into a ditch, at which time the vehicle rolled onto it’s top. No injuries or citations were reported in connection with the collision.

Teen run off road by deer

A local teen was run off the road by a deer near Toledo Oct. 2, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

The 19-year-old male driver of a Ford Focus, from Toledo, had been traveling on the 600 block of Smokey Valley Rd., south of Toledo, when a deer entered the roadway, causing the driver to swerve and drive into the ditch. While there was major damage to the vehicle reported, the driver was not described as injured.
