Cops bust more meth users, burglars

SOUTH BEND – Residential robbery, methamphetamine and DUI were the main focus of local law enforcement the past several days with the biggest case involvingMandy Carmen Mitchell, 35, formerly of Raymond, now residing in Aberdeen, and Jeffrey Lynn Hunter, 52, Grayland, who were arrested in connection with the Lebam residential burglary that took place last Thursday afternoon.
Mitchell and Hunter were arrested for residential burglary and other charges after they were apprehended by local law enforcement.
* Mitchell was arrested for 1 count of residential burglary, 2 counts of possession of a prescription without a prescription (felonies), and a community custody violation. Mitchell is currently in jail with bail set at $100,000.
* Hunter's charges include residential burglary, possession of
1 count of amphetamine/methamphetamine, 2 counts of driving with a suspended license in the third degree. Hunter's bail is set at $257,500.
Last Thursday a home owner in Lebam notified 911 that a building on his residence was being burglarized in the 2300 block of Clark Road. He advised 911 that his wife was home alone and had heard noises within the residence. The caller advised that his wife had called him at work to report the incident and that she had fled the residence.
Deputies with the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Raymond Police Department responded to the scene.
A Pacific County Sheriff’s Office apprehension K-9 team initiated a track on the subjects and worked the heavily wooded area for an extended period of time, but subjects were not located. Investigators were able to develop enough information to identify the two subjects by items they had abandoned at the scene, as well as information gathered from neighbors and other residents in the area.
Hunter was subsequently arrested Thursday night. Hunter admitted his involvement in the burglary and then ratted-out Mitchell, who was arrested early Friday morning.
Assisting the sheriff’s office with the arrests were the Raymond Police Department, the South Bend Police Department and the Shoalwater Bay Tribal Police.

Angela Michelle Williams, 47, Raymond, was arrested on a total of 15 charges, including 3 counts of possession of amphetamine/methamphetamine, 3 counts of unlawful use of a building to use drugs, 2 counts of possession of prescription drugs without having a prescription, which are felony charges; 1 count of possession of methamphetamine, 3 counts of possession of stolen property, and 3 counts of trafficing stolen property. Williams was booked into Pacific County Jail by Deputy Ron Davis last Monday night. Williams' bail was set at $75,000 while she resides in the pokey awaiting court proceedings. Williams was charged with The arrest took place at Williams' residence in the 1400 block of Larch St. in Raymond, and it culminated a lengthy investigation by the Pacific County Drug Task Force regarding her involvement in dealing and selling methamphetamine.
Rodney Dee Oleachea, 48, Raymond, was arrested on a community custody violation. Oleachea was arrested by Raymond Police Officer R Verboomen.
Patrician Louise Clifford, 32, was arrested for 3 counts of failure to appear and 1 count of a community custody violation. Clifford is in jail with bail set at 10 grand.
Shona Danielle Gustin, 33, was jailed last Friday night for a probation/parole violation.
Arrested for DUI on Monday was Tara Tristin Stark, 39, of Raymond. Stark was booked into jail by Deputy Knudson at 8:39 Monday morning.
Dalton James Stigall, 19, South Bend, was arrested for DUI last Wednesday night. Raymond Police Officer Jarvis arrested Stigall and bail was set at $1,1000.
Also popped for DUI was June Tilley Gustafson Hayley, 22.
Angel Freddy Estrada, 32, was booked into the slammer on 5 charges, including intimidating a public servant, resisting arrest, assault in the second degree, interfering with a domestic violence report and violation of a no contact order. Estrada is still in jail with a bail set at $75,000.
John M. Denchfield, 20, was arrested for MIP last Tuesday at 9:28 a.m.
Cheryl A. Novak King was in court last Friday for her arraignment on charges of eluding a police officer, DUI, assault in the third degree, and 2 misdemeanors.
