Ryderwood Spring Craft Fair this weekend

Ryderwood will be holding their Spring Craft Fair & Quilt Display Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and residents are invited to see the many handmade items on display.

Organizers promise this year's fair will be the "the biggest and best one ever," with a planned 34 vendors to be set up throughout Community Hall, as well as "Grandma's Kitchen" Bake Sale, which raises funds for the Ryderwood Women's Christian Service.

New in recent years to the Craft Fair, and growing in popularity, is the Quilt Display at Pioneer Hall, which includes the Ryderwood "Signature" quilt from the 1930s.

Those who stop by during lunchtime will be able to buy jumbo hot dogs, baked potatoes, chili and combinations thereof from AMVETS and VFW veterans between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. both days.

Ryderwood is located west of Exit 59 at the end of SR 506.
