Speaking of flowers, which one of you will guess the day the first Tulip opens its pretty face in Castle Rock? Stop in at the Exhibit Hall, and for a small donation, you may pick a date...Good Family Fun...
The Exhibit Hall's Winter Hours are Wednesday - Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 p.m., and their Permanent Collection is again visible, since The Quilt Show is over. Volunteers are always welcome, too, so sign up & meet all the interesting visitors that come to our city.
Also, don't forget to mark your calendar for The Craft Show on Friday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
and Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Exhibit Hall. This show is not only promising a huge variety of Handcrafted items and Craft Supplies at very low prices, but an OUTRAGEOUS BAKE SALE TOO.
For those business-oriented types or those who just enjoy mingling, check out The Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce meetings from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of every month - next one is April 10. They also take place at the Exhibit Hall, and the Programs are very interesting, whether you are a businessperson or not. The Membership Drive is on, also, so come and meet the team that helps our businesses grow. There is no cost to attend those meetings, but if you do choose to join the Chamber, you won't be disappointed, and you may walk away being inspired - as I do each month.
The Senior Center will be hosting the Annual Health Fair on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free blood pressure checks will be available, as well as useful information for one and all.
