Castle Rock HS returns for third annual Ryderwood concert

Students with the Castle Rock High School Band perform under the direction of band instructor Aimee Pyle during a musical concert in Ryderwood Jan. 28. The Choir and Jazz Band also performed during the third of such annual concerts meant to include Ryderwood in Castle Rock activities after the community was incorporated into the Castle Rock School District. Choir Director Clarance Knutson said the residents of Ryderwood tend to be very supportive of the students, who also interact with them during the rest of the year through an outreach program in which students visit during lunchtime at the Ryderwood Cafe.
