New owners Chuck and Coby Moreno of C&C Classic Diner (formerly Slater's Diner) had their ribbon cutting ceremony on July 27th. You may have noticed the new paint on the building or the new sign as you passed by.
Chuck and Coby have both worked for Slater's prior to taking over the business - with Chuck being there the last two years and Coby the last six years. While they will have a new menu coming out in a couple weeks, you can rest assured that you will find most of your favorites still available, like the burgers, shakes, crisscuts, salads, pizza and those famous stuffed sandwiches. You will also find some new items sure to delight your palate. They also plan on keeping the 50's theme that so many love.
Coby and Chuck came to the Raymond area about seven and a half years ago and have enjoyed becoming part of the community. They love people and taking care of the customers.
"Our customers are everything," Coby said. "We thrive on pleasing them."
When asked what makes them different, they said that quality is what counts. They also plan on continuing to support the community in various ways as well as supporting veterans.
C&C Classic Diner's hours are Monday-Thursday from 11-8 and Friday-Sunday from 11-9. The diner is located off the highway in Raymond at 124 7th St.
