Be on the lookout

First noted in Mason County, it appears that an unmarked white van with a broken window attempts to gain entry to people's homes under the guise of vacuum sales. It has been noted that residents in Mason County experienced burglaries shortly after the people in the van have made home demonstrations of their products.

Contact with the Raymond Police Department has discovered that no one has reported any current incidents, but that people should be on the look out for any suspicious activities of this nature.

If you have an encounter like this, ask for a business license or credentials prior to allowing anyone in your home.

They have also noted to offer baby-sitting services as well.
