There was no shortage of opportunities for local families to take their kids of Easter egg hunts during the last week, as area community groups and churches got in on the action.
A large group of kids storm the egg fields at Olequa Park, in Winlock, Saturday as part of an annual egg hunt organized by the Winlock Community Club. This year had marked the 51st year of egg hunts for the group, with attendance growing so greatly the parking in the local area was at a premium that morning.
Families hunt eggs outside Toledo New Life Assembly Church on Wednesday in what has become a growing community outreach program for the church. A free dinner of hotdogs, chips and juice or coffee w3as also offered, while funds generated from pictured with the Easter Bunny will help support church activities.
