Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

What do Chocolate, Magic and Murder have in common? Come join the magical mayhem to find out "who dunnit" on February 27! Kick off the "Chocolate on the Beach Festival" with this live theatre performance by Stage West Community Theatre, hosted by the Ocean Crest Resort in Moclips. Library Meeting

The Raymond Timberland Library Board and the Friends of the Raymond Timberland Library are meeting Tuesday, March 3 at 5:00 p.m. at the Raymond Library, 507 Duryea St. Join them in a discussion of current library building projects, programs, and fundraisers.

Pour Painting for Kids

Pour Painting for Kids at the Raymond Timberland Library on Tuesday, March 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Create an original painting using acrylic paint. The library supplies the materials.

Chili Contest

On Saturday, March 7 at 6:00 p.m. the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is holding a chili making contest at the church at the bottom of Jackson street, 245 E. Jackson St. in Raymond. The cost is free and everyone is welcome. Good chili and good company is guaranteed.

The Art of Block Printing

During the past week, the Napavine community received some shocking news. Alex Gaona, a recent Napavine graduate, has been diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma Cancer. This has been a difficult time for community members, students and staff at Napavine School District.

Dr. Lindsey Remund Pollock, Winlock veterinarian, confirmed her anticipated candidacy for the Lewis County Commissioner District 2 seat.

A Gratitude Grant from the Elks National Foundation provided $250 to purchase all of the food pictured here for the Legacy Food Bank in South Bend. Sherry Aust and Barbara Bennett did the shopping, packing cases of soup, canned corn, creamed corn, green beans and beets into their vehicle, along with boxes of cereal, macaroni and cheese and packages of hot dogs.

SOUTH BEND - The Willapa Harbor Hospital has purchased Willapa Family Medicine from Dr. Steven F. Hill, DO.

"Things will be the same as always except we've added a nurse practitioner and we will be open five days a week now," Dr. Hill told the Herald Friday morning. "There are now two providers in the office."

Added to the staff is Barbara Ann Alford, ARNP, who received her training from Indiana Wesleyan University and Wichita State University.
