Many people walk in to Timberland Bank in downtown Winlock and see the mural on the wall once inside the front double doors. We don't always look at it for what it is meant to be, we just think it's a nice painting. That is, until you learn the history behind this mural.

The City of Winlock is looking for individuals interested in receiving free training in the field of water and wastewater management with a start date of April 16. This is a volunteer position for anyone over the age of 18 with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
The goal of this program is to prepare the volunteer for a position in the water and wastewater field and more specifically to prepare the volunteer for the required test they must take in order to work in the field.
On Dec. 18 by a vote of 2-1 the Pacific County PUD Commissioners voted to approve a 1.5% pay increase for non-union PUD employees effective Jan. 1. Commissioners Mike Swanson and Diana Thompson both voted for the increase while the lone nay came from Commissioner Dick Anderson.
