SOUTH BEND - The Pacific County Commissioners met Tuesday morning, January 27 firstly to approve the regular meeting minutes of the last Board of Health meeting. After the minutes were approved, the Board of Health meeting was closed to open the commissioner's meeting.

The American Legion Raymond Post # 150 meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m. A potluck dinner, beginning at 6:15 p.m. precedes the first meeting. The legion auxiliary also meets at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.

Drilling at the oil well came to a stop last Saturday, when the board of trustees decided that it was useless to continue work any longer in the present hole.
