You may have seen public notices and editorial comments about Washington State Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) announcements of yet another "plan" to provide for salmon conservation in Willapa Bay. The first one I was aware of was in 1992, which was to restore Wild Salmon, which was then the key slogan.

Pilots Association Meets

First Wednesday Monthly

The Willapa Harbor Pilots Association (WHPA) meets the first Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m. The group welcomes new members to its meetings. For location of the next meeting call 942-7899.

American Legion Potluck

The American Legion Raymond Post # 150 meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m. A potluck dinner, beginning at 6:15 p.m. precedes the first meeting. The legion auxiliary also meets at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.
