Dear Savvy Senior,
What resources can you recommend for researching hospitals? I need to get a knee replacement next year, and want to find a good, safe hospital to have it done in.

We are writing this letter to endorse Lisa Ayers for Pacific County Commissioner.
For the life of me I cannot understand why any Democrat (or any working person) would vote for a right-wing anti-union Republican pretending to be an Independent.
Senior meals are back. Monica, your favorite cook, is back too.
All at the newly remodeled Lutheran Church, you won't believe how nice it is. And Weyerhaeuser paid for a new kitchen that is handicapped assessable.
Mark McClain should be elected Pacific County Prosecutor. For too long the current prosecutor has given crime a soft ride. Serious cases have been plea bargained and convicted criminals too often assigned only community service.
Dear Business Owner,
The Pacific County Senior Center is hosting a silent auction November 17-Dec 6. We are asking for donations to benefit the Senior Nutrition Program.
We need more transparency, not less, at our Public Utility District #2. The candidate for PUD #2 Commissioner Position #1, running against current commissioner Mike Swanson, has been hand-picked by the Chief Engineer of PUD #2, as the Chief Engineer is in line to become the next General Manager when the current General Manager, Doug Miller, retires and moves onto another choice, kush assignment for which he has reportedly been tapped. Raymond Preschool takes the day at the Shaffner Farm in Montesano. The school went to the pumpkin patch Oct. 20-21. Kids take a hayride to the pumpkin patch and bring back their choice of the orange orbs. The only rule is that they need to be able to carry the pumpkin that they choose. The kids take them home to decorate their houses during the Halloween season. The trip is paid for from the Raymond Schools Foundation.

Wave of burglaries strokes Raymond
Two attempted burglaries and one hold up in one night is the record reported to the police force of Raymond last Saturday morning, and is a very unusual one for this place, where such attempts are rare as a rule. The business houses in which the attempts were made were the West Coast Meat Market on Commercial Street and the barber shop and cigar store of B. I. Batinovich on First Street.
