After more than 30 years of serving pocket belly tacos to Pacific County fair-goers, the Raymond Kiwanis Club is passing the "torch" to another organization. Willapa Valley High School's Family Career and Community Leaders of America, better known as FCCLA, has elected to take over the booth.
Alfred E. "Bud" Meek and Marie (Camenzind) Meek, founders of Bud's Lumber Supply, will celebrate 60 years of marriage on August 21.

The Pacific County Senior Center is located at 324 Jackson Street in Raymond. Meals are served at 11:45 for those 60 and over for a suggested donation of $3.50. This week's menu includes:
