Raymond HS senior Courtney Hagain broke the school record in the 3200 meters and Hannah Dykes won three events to propel the Lady Seagulls to a close victory over South Bend and Northwest Christian last Thursday at Seagull Track.

Lady Vikes take NB meet; Cook shines in 1600

Willapa Valley’s girls claimed first place at a five-team track and field meet at North Beach last Thursday. The Lady Vikes won the meet with 111 points, followed by North Beach 99; Ocosta 90; Taholah 30; and Mary M. Knight 12.

Seagulls rout competition with depth

Raymond crushed the competition at its own six-team invitational last Thursday. The Seagulls amassed 182 points to win going away over Northwest Christian (131). Wishkah Valley tallied 90 points and South Bend and Naselle scored 47 points apiece. North River pulled up the rear with 13 points.
