The Willapa Harbor community responded in a big way for Caleb Doyle and his family at the 5K Run/Walk benefit Saturday morning at the Carriage Museum/Public Market. A silent auction with several generously donated items brought in a lot of money to help pay for some of Caleb’s astronomical medical bills. Perhaps the best thing about Saturday’s event was that Caleb was there to see his friends and give thanks to all that have stood behind him through his recuperation process. He handed out medals to some of the participants and greeted friends and well-wishers.
